Promoting health and wellbeing through soft tissue therapy
Here at GB3, we use soft tissue therapy to reduce tension, increase circulation and promote healing, contributing to overall wellbeing.
We use our unique combination of trained techniques and a tailored holistic approach to treat a range of injuries – from everyday aches to sudden pains, long-term niggles and general posture issues. We look at the bigger picture and treat the cause of the problem rather than just the pain point, because our clients know the importance of taking care of themselves, for now and the future.
We split our time between home visits in North West London and clinics in Angel, Islington and Hemel Hempstead. We also work directly with companies to support their employees through their wellbeing programmes and occasionally treat professional sports teams and athletes.
We work with a variety of clients, ranging from professional athletes to bodybuilders, and hairdressers to office workers. One of our clients is even a 90 year-old recreational golf player. Our clients know that taking care of themselves means they perform better. They prioritise their general wellbeing, are aware of how they want their bodies to feel, and trust GB3’s combination of practice and knowledge to help them get the best out of their recovery – with a boost-up, a wind-down or sometimes both!
Grayce trained as a Sports Massage and Remedial Therapist at the London School of Sports Massage (LSSM) and is a member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage (ISRM). Previously, she spent five years as a certified Advanced Personal Trainer so she has always had a keen interest in the sports and wellbeing industry. She made the transition to Sports Massage (and then to Soft Tissue Therapist) because she was intrigued when her clients couldn't move in a way they should or wanted to. As well as being a very hands-on therapist, she can prescribe rehabilitative exercises and is happy to take the time to go through her clients’ form and share exercises that they can do between sessions.
Grayce is driven by helping people to feel better – not just when it comes to the physical pain but the knock-on effect that pain has on the wider body – physically and emotionally. Talking to clients during a treatment is a huge part of the process to release physical and mental tension, and she feels a real sense of honour that her clients trust her to help them. She’s also very respectful, and understands that some people can feel vulnerable during a treatment, so prides herself on client care, towel technique and clear communication.
